Hyderabad, May 24 -- The Telangana Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, today approved proposals prepared by Telangana DISCOMs to join the Centre's Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS) aimed at strengthening electricity distribution infrastructure across the state.
The Cabinet also took several important decisions relating to education, cooperative institutions and irrigation projects.
In the education sector, the Cabinet approved implementation of the Mid-Day Meal Scheme in all junior colleges across Telangana.
The government also decided to provide breakfast and milk to students studying in junior colleges in addition to schools.
