Hyderabad, May 17 -- The Telangana unit of the BJP on Saturday took a swipe at Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy over his reported political ambitions of remaining in power till 2034 and later moving to national politics.

In a statement, BJP State Chief Spokesperson and Media In-charge N. V. Subash described the claims as "daydreaming detached from political reality" and compared them to the popular television serial "Mungerilal Ke Haseen Sapne.""There is nothing wrong in dreaming, but dreams should at least have some connection with public mood and electoral arithmetic," Subash said.
