Hyderabad, June 21 -- Telangana BJP President N. Ramchander Rao has written an open letter to Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy seeking an appointment with Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to submit a representation on the alleged non-fulfilment of Congress guarantees in Telangana.
In the letter, Rao said the people had voted for Congress based on promises made by Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra during the 2023 Assembly elections, but several assurances to women, farmers, students, youth, senior citizens and poor families remained unfulfilled.
He alleged that the promised Rs 2,500 monthly assistance to women, Rs 15,000 per acre under Rythu Bharosa, unemployment allowance of Rs 4,000, enhanced pensions, Vidya Bharosa benefits...
