Hyderabad, Sept. 13 -- The Telangana government has prohibited the manufacture, processing, packing, storage, distribution and sale of 'non-dairy, artificial or analogue paneer' in any form across the state for a period of one year, with immediate effect from September 10, 2026.
The order was issued by the Commissioner of Food Safety, Telangana, under clause (a) of sub-section (2) of Section 30 of the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006, citing public health concerns.
