Hyderabad, Aug. 24 -- The Telangana Assembly session will commence on September 7, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy informed MLAs during a meeting held at the Secretariat here on Monday.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister, who also reviewed development programmes in the constituencies of the legislators, directed them to expedite pending land acquisition for irrigation projects.
Revanth warned that irrigation projects could not be completed unless the required land acquisition was completed and assured the legislators that the government would provide funds for land acquisition, rehabilitation and resettlement (R&R), and obtaining forest clearances.
