Hyderabad, Sept. 9 -- The Telangana government has appointed Hyderabad Joint Commissioner Vijay Kumar as the supervising officer for a comprehensive investigation into the alleged "purification" of the road used by Dalit protesters to take out a march to the farmhouse of BRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao as well as other incidents reported from September 6 onwards.
Speaking in the Legislative Assembly on Wednesday, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy said the probe would cover the alleged conspiracy behind the incidents, subsequent attacks involving women officials and police personnel, and the developments inside the Assembly.
