Jayashankar Bhupalapally (Telangana), May 21 -- The 12-day Saraswati Antya Pushkarams commenced with religious fervour and grandeur at Kaleshwaram in Jayashankar Bhupalpally district on Thursday, with the inaugural holy bath performed at the sacred confluence at 0543 hours.
Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham Pontiff Sri Sankara Vijayendra Saraswati Swamiji led the first ceremonial dip. Telangana IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu, along with Endowments Minister Konda Surekha, Endowments Commissioner Hanumantha Rao, District Collector Rahul Sharma, Religious Advisor Govinda Hari, and several other dignitaries participated in the sacred ritual.
