Hyderabad, April 9 -- Officials of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Thursday caught a Revenue Inspector (RI) red-handed while allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000 in Peddapalli district.

According to an ACB release here, Sedanka Sriman, Revenue Inspector of Anthargam Mandal, was trapped by the ACB Karimnagar Unit at the Tahsildar's office in Anthargam after he allegedly demanded and accepted the bribe from a complainant.

The accused officer had allegedly sought the amount for conducting a field enquiry relating to the complainant's mother's land under the Bhu Bharathi Act-2025 and for submitting the report to the Tahsildar.
