Hyderabad, March 2 -- Lok Sabha Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi on Monday called upon Congress leaders to uphold the party's core values of peace, non-violence and truth, and work closely with the people to strengthen the organisation at the grassroots.

Addressing the closing session of the District Congress Committee (DCC) presidents' training camp at Haritha Resorts, Rahul Gandhi said equality was the most important principle of the Congress party and stressed that the party must function without discrimination based on caste, religion, class, gender, or economic status.
