Mahabubnagar, May 31 -- Telangana Irrigation Minister N. Uttam Kumar Reddy on Saturday said the Congress government would take up irrigation development in the erstwhile Mahabubnagar district on a mission mode and complete all pending projects to transform the drought-prone Palamuru region into a prosperous agricultural hub.

Announcing a two-day tour of major irrigation projects by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on June 4 and 5, Uttam said an intensive ground-level review would be conducted to assess the progress of ongoing works, land acquisition requirements and rehabilitation issues.
