Hyderabad, Sept. 22 -- AIMIM president and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi has urged Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy to name the proposed revived Mamnoor Airport in Warangal after freedom fighter Moulvi Syed Alauddin.
In a letter to the Chief Minister, Owaisi said Mamnoor Airport, built in the 1930s during the Nizam's rule, was among the oldest airports in India and had played an important role in supporting regional industries.
