Hyderabad, Aug. 30 -- AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi on Sunday questioned the RSS's position on Muslims and other minorities, referring to recent remarks by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat.
In a post on social media platform X, Owaisi said Bhagwat had stated that a Hindu who believes there should be no Muslims in Bharat would not remain a Hindu. Owaisi, however, alleged that the RSS had historically maintained different positions for the public and its own members.
He cited writings attributed to RSS founder K B Hedgewar and former chief M S Golwalkar to allege that the organisation had opposed Hindu-Muslim unity and described Muslims and Christians as "internal threats".
