Hyderabad, April 21 -- The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday caught Narayanpet Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO) Pathlavath Ramachander red-handed while allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 25,000.

According to an ACB statement, the officer demanded a bribe from a complainant for approving a file related to the late registration of birth certificates for the complainant and four others. The ACB's Mahabubnagar Range unit laid a trap and recovered the bribe amount from the officer's possession.
