Hyderabad, Sept. 18 -- BRS working president K T Rama Rao on Friday questioned Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over the arrest of BRS social media convenor Manne Krishank in connection with a social media post.
In a post on X, Mr Rama Rao alleged that Telangana Police entered Mr Krishank's residence and arrested him over a post criticising the government.
He claimed that Krishank's daughter was left crying during the police action.
Mr Rama Rao questioned whether criticising the Congress government was a crime and alleged that the Revanth Reddy government was suppressing democratic dissent. He also referred to court directions concerning arrests over social media posts and sought answers from Mr Gandhi.
