Hyderabad, May 17 -- Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) Working President K T Rama Rao on Sunday demanded the immediate dismissal of union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar to ensure a fair and impartial investigation into the POCSO case involving the minister's son.
Addressing a party programme in LB Nagar, Hyderabad, KTR said Prime Minister Narendra Modi frequently speaks about "Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao," but added that justice cannot be achieved if such slogans remain mere political rhetoric.
KTR remarked that perhaps for the first time in the country, a lookout notice had to be issued against the son of a sitting union Minister. He questioned how the accused allegedly remained hidden for nine days and who had protected him during that period.
