Hyderabad, April 8 -- Officials of the Anti-Corruption Bureau on Wednesday caught a headmaster and a school assistant red-handed while allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 15,000 in Mahabubabad district.

J. Ravi Kumar, Head Master of ZPHS Ayodhayapuram and Mandal Education Officer of Gudur Mandal, along with G. Chandra Mouli, School Assistant and In-charge Clerk of ZPHS, were trapped by the ACB Warangal Unit when they allegedly demanded and accepted the bribe from a complainant, the ACB said in a release here.

The accused allegedly sought the amount for preparing Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS) retirement benefit bills of the complainant and forwarding the same to the AGA office.
