Hyderabad, Sept. 2 -- The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, has declared Gollala Gudi at Palampet in Mulugu district of Telangana as a monument of national importance.
The declaration was notified in the Gazette of India on August 31, 2026, through Notification No. S.O. 4802(E), issued under Section 4(3) of the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 1958.
Gollala Gudi is located to the south-west of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Kakatiya Rudreshwara (Ramappa) Temple at Palampet. The temple is a Trikutalaya, comprising an east-facing mandapa surrounded by three garbhagrihas.
