Hyderabad, Aug. 12 -- A constable allegedly committed suicide at the LB Nagar Police Station in the early hours of Wednesday.
The constable, identified as J Sai Kumar, who was on night duty, was found hanging in the restroom of the LB Nagar ACB office at around 2:30 AM by police staff.
He was immediately shifted to a nearby Kamineni Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead. His body was later shifted to Osmania Hospital for postmortem.
Sai Kumar, a 2024-batch constable, was attached to the LB Nagar ACP office and was performing e-Cops duty. He was staying with his friends in Karmanghat.
The police registered a case and launched an investigation. The exact reason for his extreme step is yet to be ascertained.
