Hyderabad, Aug. 12 -- A constable allegedly committed suicide at the LB Nagar Police Station in the early hours of Wednesday.
The constable, identified as J Sai Kumar, who was on night duty, was found hanging in the restroom of the LB Nagar ACB office at around 0230 hours by police staff.
He was immediately shifted to a nearby Kamineni Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead. His body was later shifted to Osmania Hospital for postmortem.
Sai Kumar, a 2024-batch constable, was attached to the LB Nagar ACP office and was performing e-Cops duty. He was staying with his friends in Karmanghat.
The police registered a case and launched an investigation. The exact reason for his extreme step is yet to be ascertained.
