Hyderabad, Sept. 2 -- The Telangana Commercial Taxes Department (CTD) busted an unauthorised pan masala and gutkha manufacturing unit at a residential premises in Erragunta near Barkas during inspections at 25 premises on September 1.
Officials seized machinery, raw materials, chemicals and counterfeit packaging bearing brands including RMD, Goa 100, Badshah, Zaffrani Gold and Vimal Pan Masala.
Inspections at Begum Bazaar, Feelkhana, Tolichowki, Golconda, Bada Bazaar, Langar Houz and Babanagar also led to the seizure of unaccounted stocks of pan masala and tobacco products.
