Hyderabad, May 15 -- Telangana Government Advisor and renowned oncologist Dr Nori Dattatreyudu on Friday presented the "Cancer Atlas of Telangana" to Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy at his Jubilee Hills residence.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister congratulated Dr Nori Dattatreyudu for preparing a comprehensive report on the prevalence of cancer across Telangana. Revanth Reddy said the atlas would play a crucial role in strengthening the fight against cancer in the state.
The Chief Minister observed that the report would help identify regions with a high incidence of cancer and enable authorities to study the underlying causes behind the spread of the disease in those areas.
