Hyderabad, Aug. 10 -- Cabinet Secretary T V Somanathan on Monday held a video conference with Chief Secretaries of all states to discuss the proposed 'Reform Utsav' initiative of the Government of India aimed at strengthening citizen participation in the reform process.
The initiative is proposed to be launched in October 2026 and seeks to identify citizens' suggestions, deliberate on them, convert them into actionable reforms and implement them through a defined roadmap.
The initiative will be implemented in three phases.
The preparatory phase will be held during August and September, focusing on establishing the governance framework, sensitisation and awareness campaigns.
The main Reform Utsav will be held from October to December.
