Hyderabad, June 16 -- The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday registered a disproportionate assets case against Sunkari Narahari Rao, Deputy Director, Multi Zone-II, Survey and Land Records Department, Hyderabad, alleging that he amassed assets disproportionate to his known sources of income through corrupt practices.
The ACB conducted simultaneous searches at Narahari Rao's residence and nine other locations linked to his relatives, benamis and associates.
During the raids, officials detected assets valued at Rs 13.05 crore based on document value, while noting that the market value of the immovable properties is likely to be substantially higher, an ACB statement said.
