Hyderabad, June 29 -- Telangana and the Korean Cultural Center India (KCCI) have agreed in principle to jointly organise the Telangana-Korea Cultural Festival in Hyderabad on October 25, with both sides also exploring ways to expand cooperation in tourism and cultural exchanges.
The understanding was reached during a meeting between Telangana Tourism, Culture and Excise Minister Jupally Krishna Rao and a delegation led by Hwang Il-yong, Director of KCCI and Counsellor for Culture and Press at the Korean Embassy in India, at the Dr B R Ambedkar Telangana Secretariat on Monday.
Jupally Krishna Rao highlighted Telangana's rich historical heritage, diverse culture, traditional art forms and world-class tourist destinations.
