Patna, Aug. 23 -- Leader of Opposition in Bihar Assembly and RJD national working president Tejaswi Yadav has urged immediate intervention of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) into the death of nineteen-year-old Roshan Yadav, who was found dead inside Mandal Karagar, Rampatti, in Madhubani district on August 10.
Yadav has written a letter to the NHRC alleging that the circumstances surrounding Roshan Yadav''s death warranted independent scrutiny and sought action to ensure justice for the deceased and his family.
In the letter addressed to the chairman of the NHRC, the RJD leader stated that Roshan Yadav had been in judicial custody since May 27, 2026. Jail authorities have stated that he died by hanging.
