Patna, Aug. 17 -- Leader of Opposition in Bihar Assembly Tejaswi Yadav and state Congress president Rajesh Ram on Monday expressed grief over the death of seven devotees in the stampede at Ashok Dham Temple in Lakhisarai and blamed the BJP-led NDA government for administrative lapses and inadequate crowd-management arrangements.
Yadav said he was deeply distressed by the reports of devotees being injured and seven losing their lives during Jalabhishek on the third Monday of Sawan. He said the incident, involving a fallen electric wire, causing panic and a subsequent stampede, was extremely tragic.
