Bengaluru, Aug. 10 -- Bengaluru South MP and BJP Yuva Morcha national president Tejasvi Surya on Monday completed his Kanwar Yatra by offering sacred Ganga Jal at the historic Gavi Gangadhareshwara Temple in Basavanagudi here.
The yatra began at Har Ki Pauri in Haridwar, where Surya took a holy dip in the Ganga and walked 26 km to the Veerabhadra Mahadev Temple in Rishikesh, carrying a Kanwar filled with Ganga Jal along with hundreds of young devotees.
The yatra was centred on four themes -- Sadhana (self-discipline), Seva (service), Samarasta (social harmony and inclusivity) and Swachhata (cleanliness).
