Hyderabad, Aug. 2 -- Master Chaladi Tej Veer of Tadepalli (Seethanagaram), Amaravati (Andhra Pradesh), won the gold medal in the Kata event in the Under-10 Yellow Belt Boys category at the International Martial Arts Championship Mega Event held here on Sunday.
Tej Veer also clinched the silver medal in the Sparring (Fight) event in the 9-12 years, 21-25 kg weight category, emerging as one of the standout performers at the championship, which witnessed participation from competitors from several countries.
With his two-medal haul, Tej Veer also earned promotion to the Green Belt level.
