Pune, Aug. 10 -- union Minister of State for Cooperation and Civil Aviation and Pune MP Murlidhar Mohol on Sunday said elected representatives must combine traditional public outreach with modern technology to remain accessible to citizens round the clock.
He was speaking at the inauguration of a new public relations office of BJP leader Sunny Nimhan at Bopodi.
On the occasion, an advanced WhatsApp Bot service was also launched to enable citizens to register complaints and suggestions directly through their mobile phones and track the action taken on them.
Mohol said the initiative would allow citizens to communicate with their representatives 24x7, follow up on grievances and interact more effectively with the administration.
