Dharamshala, April 21 -- Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Tuesday announced that all teacher vacancies in CBSE-affiliated government schools in Himachal Pradesh will be filled by June 30 this year, alongside a series of development and welfare measures for Kangra district.
Addressing a public gathering at Jakhbar in Fatehpur assembly constituency, the Chief Minister said the office of the Chief Engineer of the Shah Canal project, earlier shifted to Mandi, will be re-established in Fatehpur. He also announced Rs 10 crore for setting up an industrial area in the constituency, Rs 50 lakh for renovation of Wazir Ram Singh Stadium, and financial assistance of Rs 20,000 each to Mahila Mandals.
