Shillong, May 4 -- Teachers and staff serving in deficit grant-in-aid schools and colleges in Meghalaya on Monday staged a poster campaign against the state government's notified Meghalaya non-government schools and colleges employees centralised fund scheme, 2026.
The state-wide poster campaign is organised by Meghalaya College Teachers' Association (MCTA), Khasi-Jaintia Deficit School Teachers' Association (KJDSTA) and other stakeholders after the state government submitted the 2026 scheme to the court in April, replacing the earlier draft.
