Vijayawada, April 27 -- The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) condemned the disruption of a stand-up performance by comedian Sarat Uday in Bengaluru, describing the incident as unacceptable and inconsistent with democratic conduct.
In a statement on Monday, TDP State president Palla Srinivasa Rao said that objections to any form of expression must be addressed strictly through due process.
"In a democracy, dissent must operate within the framework of law. Taking matters into one's own hands is unacceptable," Srinivasa Rao said.
