Mumbai, April 2 -- The Tata Group's battery manufacturing venture is likely to start production at its plant located in Sanand, Gujarat, from 2027, according to company officials.
Tata Technologies, a global product engineering and digital services company of the Tata Group, has collaborated with Agratas for design, development and manufacturing of best-in-class battery solutions.
As part of the collaboration, Agratas is building gigawatt-scale battery solutions of 60GWh at Bridgewater, in the United Kingdom, and at Sanand in Gujarat, mostly to serve captive demand of Tata Group's automobile firms, Jaguar Land Rover and Tata Motors.
