Bhubaneswar, July 7 -- Odisha's Tata Power-led power distribution companies (Discoms) have trained nearly 7,000 frontline Business Associate employees through their innovative 'Training on Wheels' (ToW) initiative, which has reached over 900 locations across the state in the last six months.
The mobile learning programme has been introduced to address the long-standing challenge of providing regular safety and technical training to electricity workers posted in remote areas, where travelling to training centres often proves difficult.
