Manoj BhadraLucknow, May 11 -- After analyzing the results of the West Bengal Assembly elections and the electoral process there, the Samajwadi Party in Uttar Pradesh has decided to make a major shift in its upcoming political strategy.

According to SP sources here on Monday, the party will now focus on its own cadre rather than on outside agencies and will formulate its strategy accordingly.

Party sources believe that the SP will now rely more on its traditional organization and grassroots workers rather than political consulting firms. Furthermore, the focus will shift from agitational politics to voter list monitoring and booth-level preparation.
