Hyderabad, June 11 -- Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Thursday said the state government is taking all necessary legal measures to secure clearance from the National Green Tribunal (NGT) for the construction of the Seethamma Sagar Barrage, a crucial component of the Sitarama Project.

Speaking at a high-level review meeting on irrigation projects in the erstwhile Khammam district held at Jalasoudha in Hyderabad, Bhatti Vikramarka said the government is giving special attention to resolving legal hurdles that have delayed the project.
