Khammam, June 22 -- Telangana Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Monday called for making the massive public meeting scheduled on June 30 at Chintakani a historic event, where Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy will launch the transfer of "Rythu Bharosa" funds directly into farmers' accounts across the state.
Addressing a coordination meeting with Congress leaders and public representatives of Madhira constituency in Khamma district, Bhatti said the programme would be the first major public meeting in the constituency since the Congress came to power and would send a strong message about the government's commitment to farmers' welfare.
