Hyderabad, July 24 -- Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President and MLC Mahesh Kumar Goud today accused the BRS of indulging in political drama over student issues, alleging that the party had no moral right to protest after its record in government.

Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan, Goud extended birthday wishes to BRS Working President K T Rama Rao (KTR) but questioned his decision to stage protests, recalling that it was the BRS government that had abolished the Dharna Chowk in Hyderabad. He said KTR should first apologise publicly for denying democratic protest space before participating in agitations.
