Hyderabad, June 16 -- Telangana Director General of Police (DGP) C V Anand today stressed that public safety and traffic management must remain the highest priorities during the monsoon season and directed all departments to take proactive measures to prevent flooding, waterlogging and traffic disruptions in Hyderabad.
Reviewing monsoon preparedness and flood management measures at Malkam Cheruvu in the city's western corridor, Anand said the Police Department was maintaining a high state of readiness to ensure public safety and minimise inconvenience to citizens.
