Panchkula, Sept. 4 -- The Panchkula administration has urged residents to stay away from the Ghaggar River, seasonal streams, and drains, as continuous rainfall over the past two days has raised water levels, increasing the risk of sudden surges from adjoining hill areas.
With a heavy rain alert in place for the next three to four days, the administration has particularly warned people against entering rivers or streams for bathing, visiting their banks, or approaching them for selfies and recreation.
