Bengaluru, June 28 -- Branding the Karnataka government's Rs 1,139-crore tunnel project as the "tombstone of scientific urban planning," Bengaluru South MP Tejasvi Surya on Sunday launched a sharp attack on the state's infrastructure strategy, alleging that the ambitious 2-km corridor is structurally flawed and will be traffic-saturated from Day One of operations.

Taking to X, Surya claimed that the government's own Detailed Project Report (DPR) exposes the project's limitations, asserting that it is expected to reach congestion levels immediately after becoming operational.
