Bengaluru, March 31 -- A political row erupted in Karnataka on Tuesday after Bengaluru South MP Tejasvi Surya launched a sharp and sarcastic attack on the state government over the allocation of IPL match tickets to legislators.

Taking a dig at the Congress-led dispensation, Surya mocked the decision announced by Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar that Royal Challengers Bengaluru, the Karnataka State Cricket Association, DNA and other stakeholders had agreed to provide three tickets each to MLAs and MLCs.

"This will go down as the biggest achievement of this govt. Truly historic day for Karnataka," Surya said in a post on X, in an apparent swipe at the government's priorities.
