New Delhi, May 25 -- The Supreme Court (SC) on Monday declined to entertain an application filed by an NGO seeking clarification that its recent order permitting euthanasia of dogs under certain circumstances should not be interpreted as authorising indiscriminate culling of stray dogs.
The plea was moved by NGO 'Animals Are People Too' before the apex court, raising concerns that authorities were allegedly misinterpreting the court's direction to justify the unlawful killing or removal of dogs.
