Thiruvananthapuram, June 2 -- Prof. K. N. Harilal, Chairman of the 7th State Finance Commission, presented the Commission's Supplementary Report to Kerala Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, at Lok Bhavan, here on Tuesday.
The report was handed over in the presence of K. Jyothilal IAS, Additional Chief Secretary (Finance & Taxes), and Ms Tinku Biswal IAS, Principal Secretary, Local Self Government Department.
The 7th State Finance Commission was constituted by the Kerala Government in September 2024 to recommend mechanisms for the devolution of funds to local self-government institutions across the state.
