Bengaluru, March 19 -- SOM Group of Companies has launched its premium beer brand "Sunny Beaches" in Karnataka, reporting strong early traction with sales of over 12 lakh bottles within two months of entry into the market.
The company said the brand, produced by its subsidiary Woodpecker Distilleries and Breweries, has captured over three per cent market share in the state within a short span, positioning itself as a fast-growing challenger in a segment traditionally dominated by legacy beer labels.
According to the company, Sunny Beaches recorded sales of more than 12 lakh bottles in February 2026 alone, with availability expanding across key markets including Bengaluru, Mangaluru, Mysuru and Belagavi. It is currently present in around 8...
