Bengaluru, June 29 -- Karnataka Home Minister Priyank Kharge on Monday said the criminal defamation case against him would not deter him from raising questions about the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), renewing his demand that the organisation be brought under a mandatory registration framework.
Responding after a Bengaluru court issued summons in the defamation case, Kharge asserted that he would fight the matter legally and expressed confidence in the Constitution and the judicial process.
"The Constitution and the law are on our side. There is nothing to be afraid of," he said, maintaining that the legal proceedings would not stop him from seeking greater transparency in the functioning of the RSS.
