Thiruvananthapuram, March 18 -- The Kerala Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation, popularly known under its consumer brand Milma, has issued a detailed advisory for customers and distributors on the safe storage and handling of milk and curd, as rising summer temperatures increase the risk of spoilage.
In its guidelines, Milma stressed that milk sachets should be stored in the refrigerator's chiller compartment at a temperature of around 4-5 degrees Celsius until use.
The directive applies to all stakeholders, including booth agents, distributors, retailers and consumers, to ensure product quality is maintained throughout the supply chain.
