Panchkula, Sept. 9 -- Haryana State Council for Child Welfare Vice-Chairperson Suman Saini on Tuesday laid the foundation stone for the expansion of Saini Bhawan in Sector 12-A here, with additional rooms planned on its third floor.
The project is being undertaken by the Saini Welfare Association as part of an upgrade of the community facility.
At the function, Saini also felicitated meritorious students for their academic performance.
Speakers stressed that education and greater opportunities for young people were critical to the community's progress.
Association general secretary Raj Kumar Saini said the expansion was aimed at developing Saini Bhawan into a better-equipped community facility.
