Shimla, April 8 -- Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu announced on Wednesday, that the Postgraduate (PG) seats in medical colleges across Himachal Pradesh are being increased to enhance patient care and strengthen healthcare services in the state.
He made the announcement while chairing a review meeting of the Medical Education Department, underlining the government's commitment to providing quality treatment within the state.
The additional PG seats will include 57 in RPGMC Tanda, 29 in Mandi, 32 in Nahan, 33 in Chamba, 67 in Hamirpur, and 96 in Indira Gandhi Medical College Shimla. The Chief Minister said the expansion would improve the functioning of these institutions and ensure better patient care.
