Bhopal, June 3 -- In yet another heartrending case of extreme distress faced by students who appeared in the now-cancelled NEET-UG 2026 exam, a suicide note that came to light recently has revealed that a girl from Madhya Pradesh, who committed suicide in Nagpur, Maharashtra on May 20, had ended her life after losing all hope and courage to reappear and pass the exam again.

The deceased girl, Akansha Chaturvedi belonged to Magania village in the Mauganj district of MP.

As per reports quoting her parents and other family members, she had appeared in her first attempt of the NEET examination held on May 3, and was confident that she had performed well to get selected and secure a good ranking.
